Five Star Spanish Hotel Opens in Dubai This Fall

On October 12, a new five-star hotel from the Spanish company Sol Melia will open for the public in Dubai.

The new five-star hotel under construction in Bur Dubai will open this October. About it

Sol Melia, the Spanish company behind the $ 54 million project, announced on the Arabian Travel Market.

The opening of the hotel will take place on the same day as the national day in Spain.

Andre Gerondeu, Executive Vice President, Sol Melia Hotel Division, said: “This is the first step towards realizing our expansion plans in the region. We are currently negotiating with potential partners in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and we look forward to further announcements in the near future. ”

He added that the hotel will focus on guests coming to Dubai from Spain. This is a trend that, according to him, has been outlined in the last few years. Gerondeu noted that Emirates launched its first daily flight to Madrid last summer, while Iberia operates four weekly flights to Dubai. Meanwhile, Emirates flights to Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro will provide the emirate with tourists from South America. In the success of its proposal, the company relies on traditional Spanish hospitality.
