Dubai will rebrand the world's tallest structure

Dubai-based Emaar Properties, the general developer of the tallest building in the world, will soon unveil a rebranding plan for the tallest building in the world, which over the past few years has been known as Burj Dubai ("Tower of Dubai").

As the representative of Emaar Properties told the press, a campaign will be held to promote the new name of the building. Recall that on the opening day, January 4, the ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, announced that the building would henceforth be called the “Tower of the Caliph” (“Burj Khalifa”, Burj Khalifa).

His decision to name the tower in honor of the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the ruler of Dubai explained with a desire to underline the unity of the federation. The uncle of the ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, said in an interview that Sheikh Khalifa "is one of the symbols of the UAE."

Recall that since the start of construction in 2004, the tallest building in the world was positioned as the “Tower of Dubai”. The name of the tower gave the name to the area adjacent to it, which, most likely, will also be renamed.
