For the first time in the UAE, a woman was allowed to shave beards to men

In the United Arab Emirates, a men's hairdresser first hired a woman.

Dubai, UAE. Famous in the United Arab Emirates, the men's hairdresser Chaps & Co was the first in the country to hire a female hairdresser.

As a rule, entrance to salons in the UAE is always accompanied by a sign on the doors “Only for women” or “Men are not allowed to enter,” in this case, 29-year-old Briton Samantha Loyd had to go through a lot of interviews to penetrate the realm of male beauty.

Currently, she remains the only female hairdresser who is allowed to work in a salon outside the hotel. She wears a standard uniform, like her male colleagues, a white blouse and black pants with suspenders, and a black scarf is tied around her neck.
