Dubai toughens check arrivals through international airport

The Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department has received a new, state-of-the-art system containing comprehensive information about people deported from the UAE. The new system allows you to store up to several dozen parameters for each of the deported citizens of different countries. Its application at the immigration check at Dubai International Airport will help to effectively stop attempts to penetrate the territory of the country of those who are banned from entering the UAE.

According to Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Department of Civil Aviation of Dubai, the leadership of the emirate is trying to ensure the highest safety standards for people living in the country and tourists. The new system has been introduced as part of the passport control tightening project. Sheikh Ahmed also said that only in the second half of 2007, 619 fake passports were seized at passport control at the Dubai International Airport, and hundreds of people trying to enter the UAE without permission from the authorities were detained.
