Dubai police are offering violators to pay fines with a 50% discount.
Dubai police recalls that motorists with fines for driving registered in 2016 or earlier will receive a 50 percent discount if paid until the end of 2017.
This initiative was launched by order of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in connection with the Year of Charity, which was announced by the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Saif Muhair Al Mazrui, director of the Dubai Police Traffic Department, also recalled that a 50 percent discount does not apply to violations committed in 2017.
To pay the fine, drivers can contact the traffic department and all service centers, as well as use online payment.
