The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has warned subscribers about the distribution of malware under the guise of PDF files that are sent anonymously by email and in the WhatsApp messenger. It is reported that such letters can cause serious harm to users' devices.
The TRA Computer Emergency Readiness team previously stated that during the first 10 months of 2017, 615 cyber attacks against state, semi-government, and private organizations were detected in the UAE.
