500 horses to become Emirates passengers from the UAE

Emirates Airlines from the United Arab Emirates organized the transportation of horses to the USA to participate in the equestrian race.

Emirates SkyCargo, the UAE Emirates cargo division, successfully transported the first batch of 67 horses to the FEI Tryon 2018 World Equestrian Games in the United States.

The horses were brought from Liège, Belgium, to Greenville-Spartanburg, USA, by Emirates SkyCargo Boeing 777.

This is the first of 19 flights that Emirates SkyCargo will fly in preparation for a sporting event. In total, 500 horses are going to transport at FEI Tryon 2018. This is the most massive transportation of its kind for one sporting event. To do this, Emirates SkyCargo works with Peden Bloodstock, a leading international equestrian specialist.

Emirates SkyCargo regularly transports horses for driving races and other equestrian events around the world.

The air carrier provides a comfortable environment for horses during the flight, which also complies with the rules established by national and international authorities regarding the transport of animals, including the IATA Live Animals (LAR) rules.
