Free medical examinations will be held in the UAE

As part of the Year of Tolerance, the United Arab Emirates arranges free medical examinations for all those in need.

The Noor Dubai Foundation has launched a new medical and information campaign, in the framework of which free medical examinations will be held in churches and mosques of the UAE.

The foundation will provide free vision tests using the Mobile Eye Clinic program for working with the population in the UAE. In collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), dental examinations, general medical examinations, and donor blood collection will also be conducted.

In addition to the main goal, the campaign also aims to establish dialogue between different cultures and faiths.

Dr. Manal Tarjam, CEO and board member of Noor Dubai, said more than 40 volunteers from the DHA Youth Council participated in the campaign.

The vision screening campaign will continue until the end of 2019 in 14 churches and mosques in the United Arab Emirates.
