Sheikh from the UAE paid tuition to thousands of foreign students

The ruler of one of the UAE emirates paid tuition fees for two thousand expatriate students.

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Sakr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, has paid school fees for 1971 students from low-income foreign families.

Sumaya Khareb Al Suvaydi, chairman of the Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Charitable Educational Establishment charity, announced that the organization had already paid fees for 350 students in the amount of 2.2 million dirhams ($ 598 thousand). 11 students at Ras Al Khaimah American University joined the scholarship program.

Khareb said that the institution will also open 15 tents, where up to 2.5 thousand free dishes for iftar will be served daily during Ramadan.
