Eid al Fitr festival has been announced for schools in Dubai.
Dubai students go on weekly holidays. The Office of Knowledge and Human Development (KHDA) has announced that the weekend on Eid al Fitra will last from Sunday, June 2 to Thursday, June 6.
Earlier, authorities announced that UAE public sector workers will also leave for the weekend on June 2 and return to work only on Sunday, June 9.
Weekends for the UAE private sector begin on June 3 and end on the third day of the month of Chaval, which will fall on June 6, Thursday, or June 7, Friday, depending on the lunar cycle. The exact date will be known later.
