Sharjah Emirate's Cultural Heritage Center Opens Unique Five-Star Boutique Hotel

A new five-star resort opened in the heart of the Arab Emirates cultural heritage site.

On December 3, a unique project was opened in the Emirate of Sharjah, UAE - the new luxury five-star resort Al Bait Sharjah. This is the first five-star hotel project, created on the basis of the rich cultural heritage of the United Arab Emirates.

The official opening was held with the participation of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and ruler of Sharjah, and other high-ranking officials of the emirate.

The hotel name - Al Bait - in translation means "House". The hotel is part of the Sharjah Heritage Project and a new addition to the GHM portfolio. The resort is a complex of four houses that once belonged to local families. All of them have a close relationship with the history of Sharjah.

The boutique hotel, valued at 200 million dirhams ($ US 54.4 million), offers 53 luxurious rooms and suites, as well as a wide range of amenities and services, including many Middle Eastern and Far Eastern cuisine restaurants, a luxurious hammam, helipad , 2019 Mercedes fleet and 1967 Mercedes Pullman limousines.

The new luxury hotel has a museum, library and archives that tell the story of Sharjah, as well as the families of Al-Midf and Al-Nabud, which have had a significant impact on the development of the emirate since the 1950s.

The hotel also has access to various Heart of Sharjah projects such as Souq Al Arsah and Souq Al Masqoof. Thanks to this, guests can easily study the whole history of Sharjah.
