The large-scale Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament has traditionally attracted thousands of fans in Dubai. This year it will also be held during the holy month of Ramadan - from May 4 to 17.
Competitors await participants in a variety of sports, including basketball, volleyball, running and rowing. In addition, the annual basketball tournament for wheelchair athletes will be held, in which members of the royal family of Dubai take part.
