TAG Heuer and McLaren strengthen friendship

During the days of the Geneva International Motor Show, TAG Heuer president and CEO Jean-Christophe Babin and McLaren Group chairman of the board of directors Ron Dennis announced a new phase in the collaboration between the two brands.

Engineers TAG Heuer and McLaren have long been working hand in hand on optimizing watches and time frames for dashboards of race cars. As part of a new partnership agreement, TAG Heuer will support McLaren's new initiative to identify and support talented young pilots. For many years, TAG Heuer has been involved in the professional development of F1 stars and is ready to expand this activity together with McLaren.

One of the first who will benefit from the partnership of two famous brands will be a talented pilot from Mexico Sergio Peretz - he will become the ambassador of the Swiss watch brand, as well as the famous Jenson Button - the world champion in Formula 1.

In confirmation of the beginning of a new stage of cooperation, as well as for the fiftieth anniversary of the Carrera watch brand and the McLaren brand, the TAG Heuer logo will now appear on the rear spoiler of cars, as well as on racing suits of pilots and the uniform of the support team.

TAG Heuer has been associated with Formula 1 racing for a long time. In 60gg. for the first time he chose as his "ambassadors" outstanding pilots - motorsport stars, in the 70s. he became the first non-technical racing sponsor. From then to this day, the TAG Heuer brand has simply been associated with the adrenaline and drive of Formula 1, and it is obvious that this tradition will continue.
