Etihad, UAE Airline Launches Onboard Medical Assistance & Advice Service.
Etihad airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has launched two specialized medical services for passengers.
The first service is aimed at travelers who need an official medical examination. A doctor on board will be able to help guests, advise on all issues and issue a medical report.
Etihad will also offer a nurse who can accompany guests during their flight and provide medical assistance.
Dr. Nadia Bastaki, vice president of Etihad Airways Medical Services, said: "Etihad is pleased to be the first airline in the region to provide new medical services for guests who require medical assistance during their journey."
